An incident from early morning of Wednesday 1/16/08, posted at CrownHeights.info:A Bochur [young man] on his way home at 1:30am was accosted by a masked perpetrator who pulled a knife out and demanded the Bochurs Money. The incident took place on Lefferts and Schenectady Avenues.
The perpetrator was described as a Black male, wearing a blue hoodie, blue long down coat, approximately 5”6 and in his early 20’s. The perpetrator initially approached the Bochur and told him he was hungry and asked for money, then quietly told the Bochur to hand over his money and pulled out the knife.
The Bochur called 911 and Shomrim as he began fleeing in the other direction, police responded within seconds in large numbers and began searching the area for the perpetrator. Shomrim then assisted the Bochur with filing the police report.
