WANTED: 2 Muggers, Lafayette Ave. & Broadway (81st Precinct)

 The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the following two (2) suspects who are wanted in connection with a robbery within the confines of the 81st Precinct.  The details are as follows:

On Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at approximately 1150 hours in the vicinity of Lafayette Avenue and Broadway, the two male suspects approached the female victim and forcibly removed her purse and cell phone.  The victim sustained injuries during this incident.

TUESDAY 2:00 pm: Anti-Violence Rally & Lunch, Pulaski and Stuyvesant (81st Precinct)



The second rally against Gun Violence with the Brooklyn Clergy-NYPD Task Force's Grandmother's  Love Over Violence Program will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the corner of Pulaski Street and Stuyvesant Avenue within the confines of the 81 Pct. 


Immediately following the rally there will be a BBQ luncheon at the 81st Police precinct located at 30 Ralph Avenue. 


There will be a bus leaving from Mount Sion Baptist Church located at 365 Ralph Avenue, departing at approximately 1:00 pm


NOTE: The best train stop is Broadway and Myrtle Avenue train station on the J & Z line.
After exiting the train station walk East on Broadway for one block to the corner of Broadway and Stuyvesant Avenue make a right turn onto Stuyvesant Avenue and two blocks to the location which is Stuyvesant Avenue and Pulaski Street.

Teen Murdered on Fulton Street (79th Precinct)

On Saturday July 27th, 2013 at approximately 0405 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1198 Fulton Street, in the confines of the 79th precinct. Upon arrival, police observed the victim (M/B/17) with two gunshot wounds to the head and one gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Interfaith hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

An investigation into the homicide determined that the victim and his friends were walking on Fulton Street when they were approached from behind by the two suspects. The two group started to argue which resulted in Suspect #1 taking out a gun and shooting the victim.

Suspect #1:
M/B/20's, thin with short hair. he was wearing an orange shirt with a dark strip on it.

Suspect #2:
M/B, 6'2" tall wearing a navy blue cut off hoody.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following missing person who resides within the confines of the 73 Pct.  The details are as follows:

Deiderea Ann Nash was last seen leaving her residence located at 1428 Saint Marks Avenue on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 0900 hours.  Ms. Nash is described as being a F/B/31, 5'7" and 120 lbs.

WANTED for Mugging on Saint Johns Place (77th Precinct)


 New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance identifying the suspect wanted for robbery within the confines of the 77 Precinct. Details are as follows:
 On Friday, July 26, 2013 at 1820 hours the victim, a F/B/69, was in the elevator of 540 Saint John's Place when the suspect entered and pushed the button for the second floor. When the doors opened on the second floor the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and began to kick and punch her. He then removed her rings, chains & pendants and then fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention on the scene.
Suspect: M/B, 5'9" tall weighing 185 pounds wearing blue jeans and a grey sweatshirt.

WANTED for Murder on Jefferson Avenue (79th Precinct)

Detectives from the 79th Precinct are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the following suspect depicted in the attached surveillance photo who is wanted for the commission of a Homicide.

On Friday 7/5/13, at 2150 hours, police responded to 478 Jefferson Ave for 911 calls of a male shot. Upon arrival police found the victim M/B/29 lying inside the foyer with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was removed to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. An unknown male black was captured fleeing the scene of the homicide with a firearm in his right hand.  The suspect fled E/B on Jefferson Ave and turned S/B onto Marcus Garvey Blvd.

The deceased has been identified as Rashawn Jackson (M/B/29) of 494 Jefferson Ave Brooklyn NY and notification to the family has been made.

WANTED For Shooting Five: Curtis Peterson (83rd Precinct)


The  New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the following suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of five (5) victims in the confines of the 83rd Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Saturday, July 20, 2013 at approximately 1410 hours, the suspect was among a group of males who approached the victims in the vicinity of 191 Menahan Street. The suspect produced a firearm and fired numerous times, striking a M/H/22 in the leg and a M/H/62 in the right ankle. Both were transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition. Additionally, a F/H/52 and a M/H/45 were each shot in the abdomen and transported by EMS to Elmhurst General Hospital in stable condition. And a F/H/37 was shot in the right knee and removed by EMS to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. A 9mm Taurus semiautomatic handgun was recovered.

Approximately 5'10", 160 lbs., dark-skinned, with brown eyes and short, black hair.

Two Teens Shot, One Dead, on Miller Ave. (75th Precinct)

On Sunday, July 21, 2013 at approximately 1656 hours police responded to a report of two people shot in front of 768 Miller Avenue, in the confines of the 75 Precinct. 

Upon arrival, police found victim #1 (M/B/18) shot twice in the chest, and victim #2 (M/B/16) shot once in the right leg. EMS also responded and transported both victims to Brookdale Hospital. 

Victim #1 was pronounced DOA at the hospital; victim #2 is in stable condition. 

The suspect is described as a M/B wearing all-black and a ski mask, who got out of a tan or brown four-door sedan driven by a heavy-set F/B. The suspect exited the car, shot the victims, then got back into the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. 

An investigation is ongoing. Identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.

The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance ascertaining the whereabouts of a female reported missing on July 18, 2013 from within the confines of the 71 Precinct. Details are as follows;

Tilea Slade, F/B/14

The missing was last seen at 1030 hours on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at her residence wearing  blue jeans, a striped shirt and striped sneakers. The missing is 5'5" tall and weighs 115 pounds.

MISSING: Glen Jones, 14 (88th Precinct)



The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the following person reported missing on July 16, 2013 from within the confines of the 88 Precinct.

The missing was last seen on July 15, 2013 at 1230 hours at his residence.  He is described as 5'4", 120 pounds and last seen wearing royal blue and orange sneakers, blue and orange T-shirt and blue and orange shorts.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following missing person who resides within the confines of the 73rd Precinct.

Shelsea DeJesus was last seen leaving the Brooklyn Public Library located at 8 Thomas Boyland Street on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 1100 hours.  Ms. DeJesus is described as being a F/H/15, 4'11" and 160 lbs.  She resides at 497 Chauncey Street, Apt 3R.

Leslie Walls was last seen exiting his mother's vehicle in the vicinity of Park Place and East New York Avenue on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 1930 hours.  Mr. Walls is described as a M/B/15, 5'8" and 210 lbs.  He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue sweat pants and white sneakers.

WANTED for Robbery on A-Train Line (75th Precinct)


The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance with the whereabouts and identity of the following individuals who are considered persons of interest in regards to a robbery in the confines of the 75th Precinct.  The circumstances are as follows:

On Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at approximately 1920 hours while on the platform of the Shepherd Ave. "A" line subway station a F/A/28 was grabbed from behind and forced to remove her jewelry and place it into her purse while he took.

The attached video depicts a M/B and F/B.  The M/B is carrying the victim's purse.

WANTED for Assault on Jefferson Avenue (81st Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following suspect wanted in connection with an assault which occurred within the confines of the 81 Precinct. The details are as follows:

On Thursday, July 11, 2013 at approximately 1100 hours, while in the vicinity of 934 Jefferson Avenue, the victim, M/34, was struck numerous times about the face and neck with a hammer by an unknown male suspect who fled the location.  The victim was removed to Kings County Hospital.
