Murder at Kingsborough Houses (73rd Precinct)

On Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 0205 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 708 Kingsborough 7 Walk, Kingsborough Houses, within the confines of the 73 Precinct (PSA 2). Upon arrival, police observed a 36-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS also responded and transported the male to Interfaith Hospital, where he was later pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Murder on Quincy Street (81st Precinct)

On Friday, December 13th, 2013 at 0016 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot in front of 594 Quincy street, within the confines of the 81st Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 27 year old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his torso. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Male, 27 years old.

WANTED for Murder in Tompkins Houses (79th Precinct)



On Monday, December 2, 2013 at approximately 0610 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot in front of 85 Tompkins Avenue (Tompkins Houses) within the confines of the 79 Precinct (PSA 3). Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive, with two gunshot wounds to his legs and torso. EMS also responded to the location and removed the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and is depicted in the video discharging a firearm at the victim.

WANTED for Livery Car Stickup, Bedford & Empire (71st Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance identifying the suspect wanted for a livery cab robbery within the confines of the 71 Precinct. Details are as follows:
On Friday, December 6, 2013 at 0430 hours the victim, a 69-year-old male, picked up the suspect at the corner of Bedford Avenue and Empire Boulevard. While enroute to the location the suspect requested to go to, New York Avenue and Herkimer Street, the suspect, armed with a knife, demanded the victim's money and cell phone. The victim initially attempted to resist, but was cut on the finger by the suspect. The victim then turned over an undetermined amount of money to the suspect, as well as his Samsung phone and the suspect fled. The victim refused medical attention at the scene. 
The suspect is a 25-year-old male black, 5'8" tall weighing 180 pounds.

WANTED: Liberty Ave. Subway Mugger (75th Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance identifying the suspect wanted for robbery, in transit, within the confines of the 75 Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 0400 hours the victim, a 37-year-old male, was exiting the Liberty Avenue subway station when the suspect approached him from behind, struck him the head with his fist and removed his wallet. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is a dark skinned male in his twenties.

WANTED for Attempted Rape, Reinaldo Salgado Park (81st Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seek the public's assistance in locating the following suspect who is wanted in connection with an attempted rape/robbery that occurred within the confines of the 81st Precinct.  The details are as follows:

On Saturday, November 9, 2013 at approximately 2400 hours the victim, a 20 year old female, was walking in the vicinity of Madison Street & Patchen Avenue, when the suspect approached her from behind, dragged her into Reinaldo Salgado Park, threw her to the ground, punched her repeatedly and removed approximately $60 from her.  The suspect then pushed the victim against a fence and sexually assaulted her before fleeing. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as 5'9", medium build with light hazel eyes and a medium skin tone.  He was last seen wearing blue sweat pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Murder at Linden Houses (75th Precinct)

On October 31, 2013 at 1930 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 270 Wortman Avenue(Linden Houses)in the confines of the 75 Pct. Upon arrival police discovered a M/B/46 shot multiple times inside of a 2002 Chrysler Voyager.  The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced DOA.

Murder on Park Place (73rd Precinct)

On October 31, 2013 at 2324 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1834 Park Place in the confines of the 73 Pct. Upon arrival police observed a M/B/37 shot 1x in the neck. He was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigation ongoing.

Murder on Linden Blvd. (75th Precinct)

On Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 0008 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 2870 Linden Boulevard, within the confines of the 75 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a male with a gunshot wound to the head, who was sitting in the driver's seat of a Range Rover parked in front of the location. EMS responded and pronounced the male DOA at the scene. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Double Murder on Pennsylvania Ave. (75th Precinct)


On Friday October 18th, 2013 at 2035 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 202 Pennsylvania Avenue, in the confines of the 75th precinct. Upon arrival, police observed victim #1 (M/B/34) and victim #2 (M/B/21) each with one gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported both victims to Brookdale Hospital where victim #1 is listed in  critical condition and victim #2 was pronounced DOA. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Murder on St. Marks Ave. (77th Precinct)

On Sunday, October 6, 2013 at approximately 1744 hours police responded to a report of a male shot in front of 1117 St. Mark's Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a male black 49 years old,  seated in a vehicle unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. EMS also responded and transported the male to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. No arrests have been made. Identity of the victim is pending proper family notification. An investigation is ongoing

Murder at Kingsborough Houses (77th Precinct)

On Wednesday October 2nd, 2013 at 0445 hours inside of 154 Kingsborough 1st Walk within the confines of the 77th precinct, police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed. Upon arrival, responding officers observed the victim, a M/B/39, with a stab wound to the chest and arm. EMS responded and transported the victim to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.. A F/B/31 was taken into custody at the scene and charges are pending.

Chain Snatcher at Utica Ave. IRT (77th Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the following suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that took place within the confines of the 77 Precinct.  The details are as follows:

On Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at approximately 1415 hours inside the Utica Avenue "2/3/4/5" subway station, the suspect approached the female victim, forcibly removed the chain from her neck and fled.  No injuries were reported at this incident.

On Tuesday, October 1,2013 at approximately 1130 hours, police officers responded to a 911 call for a female shot in the courtyard of 470 Dekalb Avenue within the confines of the 79th Precinct (PSA3).  Upon arrival, officers discovered female black 24 years of age  with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where she was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time and investigation is ongoing.

WANTED: Myrtle Ave. Stickup Team (79th Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance identifying and locating the following two (2) individuals being sought in connection with an assault within the confines of the 79 Precinct.   The details are as follows:

On Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at approximately 2300 hours the suspect entered the Lucky Liquor Store located at 752 Myrtle Avenue, punched and kicked the victim, a 61 year old male and fled.  Injuries were reported at this incident.

Suspect: Described as being a white male who was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and grey sneakers. 

Witness: Described as being a white female with blonde hair

WANTED for Home Invasions on Eastern Parkway (71st Precinct)


The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance with the whereabouts and identity of the following individual's wanted in connection to a robbery in the confines of the 71st Precinct.  The circumstances are as follows:

On Friday, September 20, 2013 at approximately 1500 hours 4 unknown males forced their way into an apartment located on Eastern Parkway.  The suspects struck the victim male black 25 years old in the head with a black handgun and forced the victim to give them an iPhone and iPad. The suspect then fled the location.

WANTED: Mugger on Macon Street (81st Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating and identifying the following suspect who is wanted for a Robbery/Assault incident which occurred within the confines of the 81st Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Thursday, September 19,2013 at 1430 hours, in front of 760 Macon Street, suspect approached the victim, F/71, from behind, choked her, grabbed her purse and threw her on the ground causing her to strike her head on the ground.  The victim was treated and released at Kings County Hospital. The suspect fled on foot taking her metro card, insurance card, credit card, keys and driver license.

Suspect: M/Black/30-40's,200lbs, long neat goatee, was last seen wearing a blank tank top, black jeans, and black sneakers.

Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim, a F/H/46, unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot wounds to the her head and torso. Murder at Penn Wortman Houses (75th Precinct)


On Monday, September 9, 2013 at approximately 0535 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 920 Vermont Street (Penn Wortman Houses), within the confines of the 75 Precinct (PSA 2). Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified M/B with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS also responded to the location and pronounced the victim DOA at the scene. There are no arrest(s) and the investigation is ongoing.

WANTED for Home Invasion, Vandalia Ave. (75th Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the following two (2) suspects wanted in connection with a robbery within the confines of the 75 Precinct. The details are as follows:

On Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at approximately 0930 hours the suspects forcibly entered the victim's residence in the vicinity of Vandalia Avenue.  One of the suspects displayed a firearm while the other suspect tied the victim up.  The suspects fled with cash and a gold chain.  No injuries were reported at this incident.

WANTED: Armed Robber Near Waverly Ave. (88th Precinct)



 The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating the following suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 88 Precinct.  Details are as follows.
On August 27, 2013 at approximately 0952 hours, while in the vicinity of 237 Waverly Ave, the suspect approached the victim and demanded her property while brandishing a firearm.  After removing property from the victim the suspect fled the scene on a green bicycle .

WANTED: Armed Robbers at KFC on Marcus Garvey Blvd. (79th Precinct)


The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following suspects wanted in connection with a Robbery that occurred within the confines of the 79th Precinct.  The details are as follows:

On Monday, September 2, 2013 at approximately 0300 hours, the suspects entered a Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at 306 Marcus Garvey Boulevard, displayed a firearm and ordered the store employees to get on the ground.  Once on the ground, one of the suspects removed property from the employees while the other suspect removed cash from the registers before fleeing the location.  There were no injuries sustained as a result of this incident.

Infant Shot in Head, Killed on Livonia Ave. (73rd Precinct)

On September 1, 2013 at approximately 1919 hours, police responded to a person shot at 352 Bristol Street, within the confines of the 73 Precinct.  Upon arrival, they observed a M/B/1 with a gunshot wound to the left side of his head.  EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. An investigation revealed that the child was in a stroller being pushed by his mother and father when he was shot as they crossed Livonia Avenue.  There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Just Before Brooklyn Boy’s Funeral, 2 Arrests in His Killing

 

NY Times: Hours before mourners began filing past the open coffin of a 16-month-old Brooklyn boy who was fatally shot in his stroller last weekend, detectives on Friday broke into a Pennsylvania apartment and arrested two suspects in the killing.  

The arrests were the culmination of a five-day manhunt that stretched from the Brownsville neighborhood, where a .45-caliber bullet ended the life of the boy, Antiq Hennis, to Maryland and Pennsylvania, where investigators suspected the fugitives had gone to hide with relatives or friends.   More here.

Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, a M/B/22, unconscious and unresponsive with four gunshot wounds to the head and one gunshot wound to his arm. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

On Monday, August 26, 2013 at approximately 1329 hours police responded to a 911 call for a M/A/32 shot at 401 New Lots Ave in the confines of the 75 Precinct. Upon arrival police discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Murder on Bainbridge Street (81st Precinct)

On Friday, August 23, 2013 at 2035 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 2035 Bainbridge Avenue, within the confines of the 81 Precinct. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered an unidentified male black in his thirties inside of a tan 2000 Nissan Maxima shot in the head and torso. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Interfaith Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. A preliminary investigation determined that while the victim sat in the car, which was double parked in front of the location, the suspect, or suspects, drove up in a dark sedan, shot him, and fled the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
