Murder on Prospect Place (77th Precinct)

On Friday, January 23, 2009, at approximately 1745 hours, inside of 801 Prospect Place Apt. 2A, in the confines of the 077 Precinct, police responded to a report of a MALE STABBED. Upon arrival, they found a M/B/47 in the bedroom with a stab wound to his chest. The victim had been involved in a dispute with the suspect that escalated to his being stabbed. EMS responded and transported the victim to Kings County Hospital where at approximately 2020 hours he was pronounced D.O.A. The identity of the DOA is pending family notification. The suspect, a F/B/39, was also transported to KCH for a laceration to her hand. Following her receiving that medical treatment the female was arrested. Charges are pending. The investigation is ongoing.

WANTED: Unknown Fort Greene Rapist (88th Precinct)

On Thursday January 22, 2009 at approximately 0605 hours, in the vicinity of St. Felix Street and Fulton Street, in the confines of the 88 precinct, a F/W/30 was raped and physically assaulted by an unidentified male. The suspect grabbed the victim from behind while she was walking on the street and stated that he had a firearm. He then dragged the victim to an isolated location where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect fled the scene with the victim’s bag. The victim was treated at an area hospital.

The suspect is described as being a M/B with a Nigerian accent. He was wearing a dark colored hat with a scarf covering his face.

MURDER at Tompkins Houses (79th Precinct)

On Monday, 01/19/09, at approximately 1526 hours, in the confines of the 79 precinct, police responded to 77 Tompkins Avenue and found a M/B/42 shot. The victim was shot multiple times. The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. No Arrests. Investigation continues.

17-Year-Old Murdered on Fulton Street (79th Precinct)

On 1/18/09 at approximately 0315 hours I/S/O 1068 Fulton Street, within the confines of the 79 Precinct, police responded to calls of a PERSON SHOT. Upon arrival, police discovered three people with GSWs. EMS responded and transported the injured as followed:
VICTIM #1 - [F/B/17]: GSW to the face - removed to Brooklyn Hospital
where she was pronounced DOA at approximately 0400 hours
from her injuries.

VICTIM #2 - [F/B/18]: GSW (graze) to the leg - removed to KCH in stable condition.
VICTIM #3 - [M/B/17]: GSW (graze) to the hand - removed to KCH in stable condition.

Double Shooting, Kingston Ave. (77th Precinct)

On Thursday 1/15/2009 at approximately 0300 hours I/F/O 74 Kingston Avenue, within the confines of the 77 Precinct, police responded to a call of a PERSON SHOT. Upon arrival, police observed a F/B and a M/B with GSW to their torso. There are no suspect(s) and no arrest(s) at this time. EMS responded and transported both victims to KCH where their conditions are as follows:

Victim # 1 - M/B/22 (Critical): numerous GSW to the torso.

Victim # 2 - F/B/20 (Stable): (1) GSW to the torso.

The investigation is ongoing.

MURDER on Franklin Avenue (77th Precinct)

On 01-10-2009 at approx 2110 hours Police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 642 Franklin Ave in the confines of the 77 Pct. Upon arrival they discovered a M/B/23 shot multiple times. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. Investigation ongoing.

Murder on Maple Street (71st Precinct)

On Thursday, January 1, 2009, at approximately 2108 hours, inside of 347 maple St., in the confines of the 071 Pct., police responded to a report of an unconscious male at location. Upon arrival police found a M/B/60's unconscious and unresponsive. E.M.S. pronounced the victim D.O.A. at the scene. Investigation ongoing.
