WANTED for Brownsville Home Invasion Robbery & Shooting (81st Precinct)



The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect wanted for a robbery and shooting within the confines of the 81 Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Monday, March 19, 2012 at 2030 hours the suspect, armed with a gun, entered an apartment in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn and proceeded to tied up the victim, a M/B/44, with duct tape. As the suspect attempted to tie the victim up, a struggle ensued and the suspect shot the victim in the neck. The suspect then removed an undetermined amount of money from the residence and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

5'11" tall weighing 150 pounds.

TONIGHT! COMMUNITY RESPONSE to Shooting on Kingston & St. Johns

Teen Murdered, Prospect Place & Schenectady Avenue

On Monday, March 20, 2012 at approximately 1955 hours, Police responded to 911 calls of a male shot at the corner of Prospect Place and Schenectady Avenue, within the confines of the 77 Precinct. Upon arrival, Officers observed a M/B/18 with gunshot wounds to the lower torso region. EMS also responded to the location, and transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. A second victim, M/B/15, was also discovered at the location, having sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. EMS transported victim #2 to Brookdale Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Murdered in the Ingersoll Houses (88th Precinct)

On Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 1951 hours in front of 48 Monument Walk, within the confines of the 88 Precinct police responded to a 911 call of a male shot. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim, a M/B/21, unconscious and unresponsive shot multiple times about the body. EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
Identity of the DOA is pending proper family notification.
