Two Shot, One Dead, on St. Johns Place (77th Precinct)

On Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at approximately 1934 hours police responded to a call of a male shot at 1324 St Johns Place, within the confines of the 77 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers determined that there were two males with gunshot wounds to the body. Victim #1, a M/B/24, was shot in the right leg and removed by EMS to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. Victim #2, a M/B/25, was shot in the torso and removed by EMS to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. The investigation is ongoing.

WANTED for Armed Robbery of Gas Station, Malcolm X Blvd. (81st Precinct)


The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance with the whereabouts and identity of the following individual wanted in connection to a robbery in the confines of the 81st Precinct. The circumstances are as follows:

On Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at approximately 0630 hours a M/B walked into the Getty Gas Station located at 10 Reid Avenue and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the location.

Suspect Description: M/B/25-30, 5'8" to 5'10", medium build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants

Murdered at Linden Houses (75th Precinct)

On Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 1746 hours, police responded to a report of a person shot in the vicinity of the Linden Houses, located at 580 Stanley Avenue, within the confines of the 75th Precinct. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim, a M/B/23, shot in the torso. EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Hector Cancel is WANTED for Armed Robbery on C Train (79th Precinct)

This is an update to an earlier post.

On Friday, April 6, 2012 at approximately 1700 hours, the victim, a M/B/19, was walking on the northbound "C" train platform inside of the Franklin Avenue subway station when the suspects approached him, displayed a firearm and removed his chain before fleeing the station. The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident.



The following individual has been arrested and charged in regards to the above incident:

Charges: Robbery 1

Teen Murdered at Pink Houses (75th Precinct)


On Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at approximately 1755 hours, Police responded to a 911 call of a person shot outside of 1211 Loring Avenue, within the confines of the 75 Precinct (PSA 2). Upon arrival, officers observed a M/B/19 with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS also responded to the location, and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrest(s) and the investigation is ongoing.

WANTED for Gunfight That Wounded 3-Year-Old (81st Precinct)


The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following individual wanted in regards to the following incident


Jashid Chambers M/B/20
He is 5'7 170 lbs


On Sunday, July 8, 2012 at approximately 1556 hours, police responded to a report of shots fired outside 383 Pulaski Street (Roosevelt Houses) in the confines of the 81 Precinct (PSA 3). Upon arrival police discovered a M/3 with a bullet wound to his leg. EMS also responded and transported the child to Kings County Hospital. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.


The following individuals have been arrested in regards to the above incident

Murdered on Schenectady Avenue (71st Precinct)

On Monday, July 9, 2012 at approximately 1600 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 285 Schenectady Avenue within the confines of the 71 Precinct.  Upon arrival officers discovered a M/30 had been shot multiple times and pronounced DOA at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Shot to Death on Jefferson Avenue (81st Precinct)

On Thursday, July 5, 2012 at approximately 0150 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 717 Jefferson Avenue within the confines of the 81 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a M/B/33 with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responded to the locations and pronounced the male DOA at the scene. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Triple Murder on Lafayette Avenue (79th Precinct)

On Monday, July 2, 2012 at approximately 2351 hours, Police responded to a 911 call of a foul odor at 749 Lafayette Avenue, within the confines of the 79 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers were informed of a foul scent emanating from apartment 2A, on the second floor. Upon gaining entry into the apartment, the officers discovered three persons, (M/B/44, F/B/51 and an unidentified M/B/child), each with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS also responded to the location and pronounced each victim DOA at the scene. A firearm was recovered from the scene. There are no arrest(s) and the investigation is ongoing.
