WANTED: Rapist, Fulton & Franklin (88th & 79th Precincts)





The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with 2 Sexual Assaults that took place in the confines of the 79 precinct.

The details are as follows:

On Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at approximately 0100 hours, in the vicinity of Fulton Street and Franklin Avenue, a F/B/56 was approached by the suspect who was armed with a firearm.  The suspect took the victim to John Hancock Park where he sexually assaulted her and struck her on the head with the firearm causing a laceration. The suspect then fled the location on foot.

The suspect is described as follows:

M/B/unknown age, approximately 5'6", approximately 160 lbs. Black short hair and brown eyes.  He was wearing a green baseball hat, a green military jacket, black boots and brown jeans.

A new case has been added to the incident that occurred on 03-16-10.

Incident #2 - On Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at approx. 1640 hrs in the vicinity of Franklin Ave. and Fulton St. in the confines of the 88 Pct. a F/B/42 was approached by the suspect who took the victim to an alley where he produced a firearm, struck her in the head, and then sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect is a M/B/25-35, 5'8"-5'11", 160-180 lbs, and was wearing a green jacket, dark pants, and white sneakers.

Murdered on Madison Street (79th Precinct)


On Saturday, March 20, 2010, at approximately 0038 hours, in the vicinity of 354 Madison Street, confines of the 079 Precinct, police responded to a report of a male shot at location. Upon arrival, responding Officers found the victim, a M/B/27, shot in the chest. E.M.S. transported the victim to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

The D.O.A. has been identified as:

Randell Tyler, M/B/27

Mysterious Corpse Found at Schenck and Pitkin Aves. (75th Precinct)

On Saturday 03-13-10 at approximately 1457 hrs on at the corner of Schenck Ave and Pitkin Ave, within the confines of the 75 Pct, Police responded to a 911 call of a suspicious bag. Upon arrival, responding Officers discovered a shopping cart with a black plastic bag containing a body of a male.


The Medical Examiner has deemed this incident a homicide. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.


The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the victim in this homicide.


The victim is described as a male black, approximately 20 - 30 years of age, 5'7" tall, 120 lbs, with short dread locks and a capped front tooth. The victim was wearing blue jeans and white socks. He also had a black ink tattoo of a CROSS on his right shoulder.

Shot to Death at Ingersoll Houses (88th Precinct)

On Monday, March 15, 2010 at approximately 1500 hours in the confines of the 88 Pct. Police responded to a call of shots fired in the vicinity of 56 Monument Walk. Upon arrival police discovered a M/B/ 23 with 2 gunshot wounds to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. No arrests at this time and the investigation is on going. ID of victim is pending proper family notification.

Teen Murdered in Walt Whitman Houses, Fort Greene (88th Precinct)

On Friday March 5, 2010 at approximately 1954 hours, in front of 79 North Oxford Walk, within the confines of the 88 Precinct, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot. Upon arrival responding officers discovered the victim, a M/B/18 shot in the back. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced DOA.  There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Identification of the victim is pending proper family notification.
