On Tuesday, October 1,2013 at approximately 1130 hours,
police officers responded to a 911 call for a female shot in the courtyard of
470 Dekalb Avenue within the confines of the 79th Precinct (PSA3). Upon
arrival, officers discovered female black 24 years of age with a gunshot
wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brooklyn
Hospital where she was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time and
investigation is ongoing.
