WANTED For Shooting Five: Curtis Peterson (83rd Precinct)


The  New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the following suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of five (5) victims in the confines of the 83rd Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Saturday, July 20, 2013 at approximately 1410 hours, the suspect was among a group of males who approached the victims in the vicinity of 191 Menahan Street. The suspect produced a firearm and fired numerous times, striking a M/H/22 in the leg and a M/H/62 in the right ankle. Both were transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition. Additionally, a F/H/52 and a M/H/45 were each shot in the abdomen and transported by EMS to Elmhurst General Hospital in stable condition. And a F/H/37 was shot in the right knee and removed by EMS to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. A 9mm Taurus semiautomatic handgun was recovered.

Curtis Peterson, M/B/23 
Approximately 5'10", 160 lbs., dark-skinned, with brown eyes and short, black hair.
