WANTED for March Murder on Sterling Place (77th Precinct)



On Sunday, March 13, 2011 at approximately 1949 hours, police responded to a report of shots fired inside 709 Sterling Place, in the confines of the 77 Precinct.  Upon arrival officers found a M/B/30 shot twice in the chest, unconscious and unresponsive.  Two unknown suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.  EMS also responded and transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA.

The Victim has been identified:

Joseph Battle

The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance in identifying two individuals wanted for questioning in regards to the above homicide.

Person #1: M/B/20's, 5'9", thin build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
Person #2: F/H wearing a blue shirt, blue pants.
