On Thursday, May 19, 2011 at approximately 2333 hours in front of 425 Gates Avenue, within the confines of the 79 Precinct, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot. Upon arrival, responding Officers discovered the victim, a M/B/24, shot in the torso. EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Kwasiada Crevelle, M/B/24
The arrested is identified as: Marell Walker, M/B/24

Murder 2nd degree
Criminal Possession Weapon 2nd degree
