On Thursday May 5, 2011 at approximately 1833 hours police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot at the front of 896 Park Avenue (Sumner Houses) within the confines of the 79 precinct. Upon arrival of police they discovered the victim (M/B/35) shot in the torso, EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
The victim has been identified as;
Otis Scott, M/B/35
