DETECTIVES ARE REQUESTING THE PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE WITH LOCATING THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL WANTED FOR A SHOOTING:ON MARCH 19, 2007, AT APPROXIMATELY 2048 HOURS, I/F/O 508 NOSTRAND AVE., IN THE CONFINES OF THE 079 PCT., A M/B FIRED NUMEROUS ROUNDS FROM A FIREARM INTO THE STORE AT LOCATION, STRIKING THE OWNER. THE VICTIM WAS REMOVED TO WOODHULL HOSPITAL IN STABLE CONDITION.
THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

6'04" - 6'06",
240 - 280 LBS.
HE GOES BY THE AKA. "SUGE" OR "SUGAR".

Is this the suspect from the shooting on March 9, 2008 at around 1:00 a.m.?
I'm in Bed-Stuy (bet. Franklin and Bedford, near Greene) and heard bout four shots (today) at around 1:00 a.m.. But this posting says March 19, 2007?? Is that the correct date?
Date is correct - cops are trying to make progress on an old case.
