Shot to Death on Tompkins Ave. (79th Precinct)

On Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 1347 hours in the confines of the 79 Pct., police responded to 85 Tompkins Ave. for reports of a male shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered a M/B/28 with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responded and pronounced the victim DOA. No arrests. Investigation is ongoing. ID of victim is pending family notification.
