On Friday, April 24, 2009, at approximately 2330 hours, in front of 175 Logan Street, in the confines of the 075 Precinct, police responded to a report of shots fired at location. Upon arrival they found a M/B/35 shot once in the head and once in the torso. E.M.S. responded and pronounced the victim D.O.A. at the scene. There are no arrests at this time, the investigation is ongoing.

MISSING in Crown Heights: Kelvenna Maxwell, 14 (71st Precinct)
On Monday, April 20, 2009 at 0730 hours, the missing, Kelvenna Maxwell of 455 Schenectady Avenue, was last seen leaving her residence for school. She is described as a F/B/14, 5'6" tall, 115 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown waist length jacket and sneakers.

Stabbed to Death on Dumont Ave. (73rd Precinct)
On 4-18-09 at approx 0533 hours Police responded to a 911 call of a female stabbed inside of 360 Dumont Ave in the confines of the 73 Pct. Upon arrival Police discovered a F/B/43 with a stab wound to the chest. The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced DOA.
Two males were involved in a dispute at the location, which escalated into a physical altercation. The victim was stabbed once in the chest as she attempted to break up the fight.
No arrests. Investigation continues.

Teen Slain on Nostrand Ave. (77th Precinct)
On Friday, April 17, 2009, at approximately 1312 hours, in front of 626 Nostrand Avenue, in the confines of the 77 Precinct, police responded to a call of a male shot. Upon arrival at the scene a M/B/18 was found with a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time, the investigation is ongoing.

The Murder of Albert Holder

A 31-year-old Brooklyn man who became a father about a year ago was stabbed to death Friday inside a Brownsville apartment building.
As Albert Holder gasped for breath, a friend ran to his side and pressed a towel against the open wound to stop the bleeding. Emergency workers raced Holder to Brookdale University Hospital where he died about 6:20 p.m.
"I just held his hand," said Jumal Irizarry, 36, who is engaged to the victim's sister. "But by the time the ambulance showed he was already slipping away."

On Friday, April 3, 2009, at approximately 1740 hours inside of 591 Howard Avenue, in the confines of the 73 Precinct, police responded to a call of a male stabbed. Upon arrival a M/B/31 was found with a stab wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced at 1820 hours. There are no arrests at this time, the investigation is ongoing.

On 4-04-09 at approx 2020 hours Police responded to a 911 call of a female shot in front of 661 Linden Bvld. in the confines of the 67 Pct. Upon arrival they discovered a F/B/31 shot multiple times by an unknown M/B. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition. Investigation is ongoing.
MURDER on Madison Street (81st Precinct)
On Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 0056 hours, in the rear of 680 Madison Street, in the confines of the 081 Precinct, police responded to a report of a male shot at location. Upon arrival, they found a M/B/26 shot 1X to the head. The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced D.O.A. at 0125 hours. No arrests. Investigation ongoing.

ARRESTED for Double Murder: Charles Judd
Charles Judd, 50, was identified through a Crime Stoppers tip, police said. Detectives went to speak to him Tuesday, but he collapsed and remained hospitalized under police guard. He also was arrested on charges of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, said Paul Browne, the New York Police Department's deputy commissioner for public information. Police still are searching for a second suspect in the shooting.
