Detectives from the 79th Precinct are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the following suspect depicted in the
attached surveillance photo who is wanted for the commission of a
Homicide.
On Friday 7/5/13, at 2150 hours, police
responded to 478 Jefferson Ave for 911 calls of a male shot. Upon arrival police
found the victim M/B/29 lying inside the foyer with multiple gunshot wounds to
the body. The victim was removed to Kings County Hospital where he was
pronounced deceased. An unknown male black was captured fleeing the scene of
the homicide with a firearm in his right hand. The suspect fled E/B on
Jefferson Ave and turned S/B onto Marcus Garvey Blvd.
The deceased has been identified as Rashawn
Jackson (M/B/29) of 494 Jefferson Ave Brooklyn NY and notification to the
family has been made.
