THE NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT IS ASKING THE PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING TWO INDIVIDUALS WANTED FOR THE COMMISSION OF TWO ROBBERIES AT THE SAME LOCATION:
ON MONDAY 05-05-08 AT APPROXIMATELY 0510 HRS POLICE RESPONDED TO A 911 CALL OF A ROBBERY I/S/O 915 WASHINGTON AVE. UPON ARRIVAL, RESPONDING OFFICERS DISCOVERED A MALE WHO HAD BEEN ROBBED.
UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ONE OF THE SUSPECTS, A M/B HAD APPROACHED THE VICTIM, A M/B/48, WHILE HE ENTERED HIS APARTMENT ON THE 4TH FLOOR AND, AT GUNPOINT, FORCED HIM INTO HIS APARTMENT WHERE HE WAS RESTRAINED. THE SUSPECT REMOVED USC AND OTHER PROPERTY.
THIS SUSPECT EXITED THE APARTMENT VIA THE WINDOW, USED THE FIRE ESCAPE, TRAVELED DOWN TO THE 3RD FLOOR, ENTERED AN APARTMENT THROUGH THE WINDOW, AND PROCEEDED TO LET ANOTHER SUSPECT IN THROUGH THE DOOR. THE SUSPECTS RESTRAINED THE OCCUPANTS OF THIS APARTMENT, REMOVED USC, JEWELRY AND ELECTRONICS FROM THE LOCATION AND FLED IN AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION.
ONE OF THE SUSPECTS ARE DESCRIBED AS A M/B/30s, APPROX. 5'7" TALL AND 150 LBS. HE WAS LAST SEEN WEARING AN ARMY (CAMOUFLAGE) SLEEVELESS JACKET, WITH A BLACK HOODIE AND TAN CARGO PANTS.
