NYPD reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man in connection with the murder in Florida of student Stepha Henry of East New York, who disappeared last May after last being seen in a Miami nightclub. The body of Henry was never found, but she is presumed dead: details here and here.

ON TUESDAY, 01/15/08, AT APPROXIMATELY 0800 HOURS, MEMBERS FROM THE NYPD INTELLIGENCE DIVISION FUGITIVE TASK FORCE ALONG WITH MEMBERS FROM THE MIAMI DADE POLICE DEPARTMENT APPREHENDED THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL WANTED IN CONNECTION A HOMICIDE THAT OCCURRED ON MAY 29, 2007 AT PEPPER'S CAFE, LOCATED AT 3828 N. UNIVERSITY DRIVE, SUNRISE, FLORIDA.
THE SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AT THE CANARSIE PIER, LOCATED AT 2200 ROCKAWAY PKWY, IN THE CONFINES OF THE 69 PRECINCT WITHOUT INCIDENT.
