WANTED for Grand Larceny, Lexington Ave. (81st Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the following individual wanted for a Grand Larceny.
On March 31, 2011 opposite 853 Lexington Ave, within the confines of the 81 Pct, the suspect broke the driver’s side window of a 2008 Chevrolet and removed undetermined amount of property from the vehicle.

The missing person is identified as:

Yankel Reznik
M/W/88

Mr. Reznik was last spoken to on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at approximately 1100 hours at his residence.  Mr. Reznik is described as being 5'4", 150 lbs. with fair complexion, brown eyes, brown hair.

Teen Murdered on Lott Avenue (73rd Precinct)

On Sunday April 17, 2011 at approximately 1935 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 230 Lott Avenue in the confines of the 73 Precinct. Upon arrival, police discovered a M/B/18 with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brookdale hospital, where he was later pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time, the investigation is ongoing.

Shooting During Robbery on Albany Avenue (79th Precinct)

On Saturday April 16, 2011 at approximately 2023 hours, inside of an Auto Repair Shop located at 74 Albany Avenue, within the confines of the 79 Precinct, police responded to a call of shots fired.  Upon arrival it was determined that an off duty Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority Police Officer was inside of the location when four to five males entered armed with firearms and announced a robbery.  

As the suspects were removing property from the victims they realized the TBTA officer was armed and they began to assault him; the TBTA officer drew his firearm and shots were exchanged.  During the gunfire the TBTA Officer was struck once in the left shoulder.  One suspect, a M/B/19 was found in front of the location with a gunshot wounds to the leg and shoulder.  EMS responded and transported this suspect to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  

A second suspect identified as a M/B/21 walked into Interfaith Hospital with gunshot wounds to the neck and face; he is now listed in stable condition.  The injured TBTA Officer was transported to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  

A Hi-Point 9mm firearm was recovered in front of 58 Albany Avenue.  The remaining suspects fled the location; the investigation is ongoing.

WANTED: Brownsville Public Housing Burglar (73rd Precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following suspect who is wanted for two burglaries and two attempted burglaries that occurred within the confines of the 73rd Precinct.  The details are as follows:

On Thursday, March 31, 2011 at approximately 1300 hours, the suspect entered a maintenance room located at 305 Livonia Avenue (Tilden Houses) and removed a container of cleaning solution before fleeing.

On Monday, April 4, 2011 at approximately 1530 hours, the suspect entered a maintenance room located at 393 Dumont Avenue (Van Dyke Houses) and removed several power tools before leaving.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at approximately 1530 hours, the suspect entered a maintenance room located at 360 Stone Avenue (Glenmore Houses) and fled without removing any property.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at approximately 1625 hours, the suspect entered a maintenance room located at 294 Osborn Street (Brownsville Houses) and fled without removing any property.

The suspect is described as being approximately 40-50 years old, 5'8" and 180-200 lbs.

Jasmine is described as a F/B/15, 5'7", 210 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue North Face Jacket, blue jeans and tan Ugg Boots.

Double Homicide on Pulaski Street (81st Precinct)

On Wednesday April 6, 2011 at approximately 1513 hours police responded to a 911 call of a robbery at
434 Pulaski Street
within the confines of the 81 precinct. Upon arrival police discovered two (2) M/B shot at the location. Victim # 1 M/B/30 was shot in the head and pronounced DOA at the scene.  Victim # 2 an unidentified M/B was shot in the head and pronounced DOA at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

WANTED for Attempted Robbery, Saratoga & Hancock (73rd precinct)

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the following three suspects who are wanted in connection with an Attempted Robbery that occurred within the confines of the 73rd Precinct. The details are as follows:

On Saturday, March 19, 2011 at approximately 0400 hours, the suspects exited a livery cab in the vicinity of Saratoga Avenue & Hancock Street and asked the driver, a M/H/41, to step out of the cab for payment of the fare. The driver then exited the cab when one of the suspects struck him with an unknown object while the other two attempted to remove his property. The driver was able to break free and the suspects fled the location without any property. The driver was taken to Woodhull Hospital with minor lacerations to his head.

Suspect#1: Male Black or Hispanic, 25-28 years old and 160 lbs.


Suspect#2: Male Black or Hispanic, 22-25 years old and 160 lbs.


Suspect#3: Male Black or Hispanic, 22-25 years old and 160 lbs.

Suspect #2

Shot to Death in East New York (75th Precinct)

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at approximately 1519 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at
485 Hendrix Street
, in the confines of the 75 Precinct.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a M/B/36 shot several times in the chest by an unknown suspect.  EMS also responded and transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. The identity of victim is pending proper family notification.

Killed at Lafayette Gardens (79th Precinct)

On Saturday, April 2, 2011 at approximately 1325 hours, police responded to a report of a person shot in the vicinity of 415 Lafayette Avenue, located within the confines of the 79th Precinct.  Upon arrival, an unconscious and unresponsive M/B/26 was discovered lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg and torso.  EMS also responded to the location and pronounced the male DOA at the scene.  There have been no arrests in regards to this incident and the investigation is ongoing.

Early Morning Robber On the Loose in Clinton Hill

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a M/B/30's wanted in connection with three (3) armed robberies that occurred in the 88 Pct.



The suspect approaches the victims, simulates a firearm, demands their personal property, receives cash and property, and flees on foot.



The suspect is a M/B/30's, 5'9"-6'0", 180 lbs, wearing a brown jacket, gray sweatshirt, and blue jeans.



Incident #1 - On Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at approx. 0245 hrs at Greene Ave. and St. James Plc.


Incident #2 - On Sunday, March 13, 2011 at approx. 0735 hrs at 324 Grand Ave.


Incident #3 - On Saturday, March 19, 2011 at approx. 0255 hrs at Irving Plc. and Gates Ave.

Woman Murdered on Herkimer (73rd Precinct)

On Monday, September 27, 2010 at approximately 2019 hours, police responded to a call of a person shot inside the vestibule at 1330 Herkimer Street, in the confines of the 73 Precinct.  Upon arrival, police found a F/B/23 shot once in the left torso.  EMS also responded and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where she was pronounced DOA. Investigation ongoing.

Sunday Morning Murder, St. Marks Ave. (77th Precinct)

On Sunday September 19, 2010 at approximately 0224 hours, in front of 770 St. Marks Avenue, within the confines of the 77 Precinct, police responded to a call of a male shot.  Upon their arrival, a M/B/19 was discovered with a gunshot wound to the back.  The victim was removed by EMS to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time, the investigation is ongoing.

Parks Worker Raped at St. Andrews Park (79th Precinct)

On Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 0907 hours, inside St Andrews Park (Atlantic Avenue between Kingston Avenue and St. Andrews Place) within the confines of the 79 Precinct, police responded to above location on a report of a sexual assault.  Upon arrival police discovered a F/29 who was raped by an unknown M/B/20s at knifepoint.  Suspect fled the above location in an unknown direction.  Victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. No arrests at this time.  

Suspect is described as a M/B/20's, approximately 5'8", 200 lbs., wearing a red shirt with a white markings, black shorts, and red/white sneakers. He was last seen fleeing on a small red mountain bike.

On Monday August 9th, 2010 at 0330 hours police responded to a 911 call of an assault with a knife at the corner of Norwood Avenue and Fulton Street in the confines of the 75th precinct. Upon arrival police observed a M/H/18 stabbed in the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brookdale hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests at this time, the investigation is ongoing. The identification of the victim is being held pending notification to family.

On Saturday July 31, 2010 at approximately 0151 hrs in front of 1997 Pacific St, within the confines of the 77 Pct, Police responded to a 911 call of a male shot. Upon arrival, responding Officers discovered the victim, a M/B/32, shot in the head. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital where on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 he was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

On Monday, August 2, 2010 at approximately 2145 hours, police responded to a report of a person shot in the vicinity of 83 Mcdougal Street, located within the confines of the 81 Precinct. Upon arrival police discovered the victim, a M/B/32, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the male to Brookdale Hospital were he was pronounced D.O.A.  There have been no arrests made in regards to this incident.  The investigation is ongoing.
